June 3- June 13, 2024 Mission to Prague, Czech Republic

We are now accepting applications for our June 3-13 mission trip to serve the people of Prague, Czech Republic.

All of Europe needs the Gospel. Without a spiritual awakening, the eternal fate of millions of Europeans will be tragic. So what is the solution to the undeniable decline of Christianity? We believe the answer is you.

The Body of Christ has always been God’s ‘Plan A’ to reach a lost and dying world — and we are to be that bridge between the gospel and Europe’s lost. Would you consider walking on that bridge to bring the life and love of Jesus to Europe?

Street evangelism in 2 Western European countries will be the primary focus for this team. A large flash mob type event will happen in city centers to draw attention to the drama’s prepared by the team. After the drama is presented the team breaks down into small groups to have direct and frank conversations with people about their faith.

YOUR TRIP LEADER: TANNER PAYTON

Tanner is the senior pastor at Word of Life Church in Rock Island, IL. He has been married to his wife, Amy, for nine years and they have two daughters, Journey (8) and Breeze (4). Pastor Tanner graduated with a degree in Pastoral Studies from North Central University in Minneapolis and is currently working on a Master’s in Practical Theology from The King’s University in Dallas. He has been passionate about outreach and evangelism for twenty years, having served in his first ministry position at The Oasis in Hollywood, California, leading teams from all over the U.S. on short term mission trips in the Los Angeles area. His church is very focused on community outreach and taking the Gospel to people outside the four walls of the Church.

Pastor Tanner believes that “Making God Known” is one of the primary purposes for every believer. Jesus promised us in Acts 1:8 that He would empower us to be witnesses for him in our own backyards and around the world. To be a witness for Jesus does not mean knowing every verse of the Bible or understanding every doctrine personally, but rather a willingness to share what God has done in your own life. It is our stories that Jesus uses to capture the hearts of others and open them up to learning more about the saving power, love, and grace of God.

The team will be staying hotels near the ministry site. The team will also stay in hotels while traveling.

CULTURE

The European culture is very diverse. The Gospel has been ignored in Western Europe for a number of years. People are hungry for the Gospel without even knowing it.
