Our Mission Trips to Beautiful Guatemala
Types of Trips
Vacation Bible School– many team will be presenting a 3-day VBS to children in one of the Vida schools that we assist. The team develops there own curriculum to present to the children. The team will also be involved in the Vida schools morning devotional & worship time.
September 1, 2024 is the next VBS team
Humanitarian Aid Distribution– some teams will have the primary focus of the trips be the distribution of humanitarian aid. In 2024 the team will be partnering with Roma Boots in a campaign called ‘Give Poverty the Boot’. The team will also distribute water filters and Bibles to children and their families. A partnership with Mercy Waters allows the team to giving life giving water as well as Living Water to children. This aid is used as a tool to bring the Gospel to children who find themselves living in poverty.
June 7, 2024 is the next Humanitarian Aid team
Community Outreach– additional teams are sent to Guatemala throughout the year to assist the ongoing ministry being done by our ministry partner Impact Ministries. Teams will work in the Tactic community to assist families. Teams will also go home to home visiting and praying for families in adverse conditions who need a bit of encouragement.
Construction teams– there is always a good work project for teams to sink their teeth into on a trip to Guatemala. Work projects are important but these work projects are always done in tandem with the Guatemalans.

Finally, every mission team will be involved in some cultural activities that show the physical and spiritual challenges that the missionaries permanently stationed in Guatemala face every day.

vida children’s home
There are a staggering number of orphaned and abandoned children in Guatemala. Since the Vida Children’s Home received official approval last summer, God has been sending us precious, sweet little ones. Each one has a heart-breaking and unbelievable story. Each one has experienced trauma at such a young age.
The stories that brought them here are all different. They include the ugliness of mental illness, rape, poverty and abandonment. But each child is beautiful, and each is so loved! Some only need our sanctuary for a short time; others will grow up as part of the Vida Children’s Home family.
As part of the ministry of Impact Ministries in the highlands of northern Guatemala, the Vida Children’s Home has become a place of refuge, where love and hope is offered. Will you take up the cause of the orphaned and abandoned children of Guatemala?
We’re looking for Orphan Care Champions to partner with us in the care of the children who have come to call the Vida Children’s Home their home. Whatever amount you are able to commit, you’ll be showing God’s love to the fatherless and changing the future for abandoned children in Guatemala.
