We are now accepting applications for our April 23 – May 3, 2024 mission trip to serve at-risk children in the beautiful country of Guatemala.

The primary focus of this mission team will be providing ministry for people living in the remote villages near Tactic, Guatemala. The team will also be spending time in the Vida Children’s Home. The team will be delivering diapers and other aid collected specifically for these children.

In addition to a variety of cultural activities designed to further your understanding of God’s work in Guatemala, you will also work alongside the staff of Impact Ministries and participate in a variety of community outreach projects: Distribution of humanitarian aid, primarily rain boots and home visits.

The itinerary for this trip is still being created.

Many people have already experienced the long-term life-changing effects of our short-term mission teams. Who knows, the life you impact just might be your own!

YOUR TRIP LEADER: Tim Oloffson

Tim is the co-founder and Executive Director of Another Child Foundation. He started as our Executive Director in 2010. Tim is married to Theresa and lives in Calhoun, TN. Tim & Theresa have 2 children (Jared & Brittany) who both have traveled with ACF to Romania number of times. Tim has lead nearly 30 mission teams around the world over the years. Tim believes that the international mission trip can sometimes be a catalyst in a persons spiritual life. He believes these trips are much like going to the eye doctor. These trips can open your eyes in new ways and you see the world more clearly. You will see the world as Jesus sees the world.

accommodations

The team will be staying at the housing center near the ministry site. Teams will be safe on the isolated grounds. The team will stay in hotels while traveling.

CULTURE

With a very diverse culture, Guatemala (aka The Land of Eternal Spring) is mountainous with patches of desert and valleys and will awe you in the beauty.
