It may not feel like it to some, but it’s very nearly spring!
In February, some of our church partners are beginning their winter coat drives. For those unfamiliar with Project Respond, we collect coats, blankets, backpacks & school supplies, shoes, boots, socks, and any other present need. These items are distributed to children in need, both domestically through Noemi’s Closet, and internationally through our ministry partners.
As Spring, well, springs, you will begin to find coats and winter goods like hats, scarves, & gloves on clearance at most stores. You can use this opportunity to maximize the good you can do for these kids; think of a 50% clearance discount as the store matching your gift dollar-for-dollar.
Without you, many of these children would go without basic items required not just to thrive, but merely to survive. The “Another Child” in our name points to this. You, me, any one of us, can solve this problem for one child. And then another, and then another, and then another.
