On Thursday, May 17 we hosted our first Guardian Angel appreciation and informational gathering of the year.  We enjoyed dinner together, great fellowship, and exciting upcoming ACF events.  You may be wondering “what is a Guardian Angel?”  They are ACF’s most passionate and involved supporters/volunteers, but we like to refer to them as Warriors because of their faithfulness to the children we serve with their prayers and love.  Our Angels are our children’s biggest advocates who share ACF’s work and child sponsorship opportunities with others and are always ready and willing to lend a helping hand.  Because ACF is a small nonprofit, we have a small staff.  With the help of our Angels, our once voiceless Roma children have a louder voice than ever before.  Thank you, Guardian Angels, for your hearts and actions in fighting injustice and for being an example of what being the hands and feet of Jesus looks like!
