Another Child would like to introduce you to our NEW International Mission partners. Impact Ministries in Guatemala & Ruby Havens in South Africa. We are so excited to see how God is going to use these new partnerships to build His kingdom. We have scheduled 2 summer mission trips with these new partners. In June we will be taking a team to Guatemala to serve with Impact Ministries. The team will leave on June 4 and return on June 14. On August 26 a team will be leaving US soil headed to George, South Africa. This team will consist of a medical team and a construction team to serve orphans in that country.
Impact Ministries has been working in Guatemala since the year 2000, and many of our leaders were once Vida students themselves. We provide opportunities for North American Christians to come alongside these Guatemalan leaders through giving, going and praying. It is exciting to see Christians from throughout North America joining our Guatemalan brothers and sisters to present the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
Ruby Havens is a Christian-based non-profit ministry based in George, South Africa. They believe that every child deserves to be safe, protected and loved. Unfortunately, many children in South Africa are abandoned and left without a stable home environment. The breakdown of family structures, teenage and unwanted pregnancies and the inequality in the South African economy often cause parents to be unable to take care of their children. Ruby Havens meets the needs of marginalized children through providing loving homes and safe havens. We also believe that families should remain intact, where possible.
