Birdies for Charity Announcement

Oct 31, 2017

Another Child Foundation was excited to be selected as a charity to participate in the 2017 John Deere Classic Birdies for Charity program.

All of the ACF staff were excited when the pledge cards started to roll in. Our goal was to raise more than we did last year. Last year’s total was just under $12,000. So, this year we aimed for more. Our actual total was $12,874.

Another Child is so blessed to have great supporters! It is only because of our supporters that many at-risk children and orphans are being blessed in Romania.

ACF was one of 521 charities to be selected to participate in this great fundraiser. The biggest advantage for us to participate in the John Deere Classic PGA Tour golf tournament is the matching funds associated with the gifts you all give as well as all of the administration costs (brochures and pledge cards).

Last year the John Deere Classic was voted the best tournament on the PGA Tour and raised over $10 million dollars. You can see the actual announcement of this year’s results below. Amazing work and generosity from John Deere. We should be proud to have them in our area!
