Our first Mission Trip of 2019 is leaving tomorrow June 13th! They will return June 23rd. We’re blessed to have Jessica Huettel and Jan Larson lead this trip. Lindsay Bearden, Lilly Bearden, Heather Gans, Chris Gans, Terri Harper, Asya Harper, Lauren Hornbeak, and Jenni Hook will all be working together to minister to the precious children at the Point of Hope and to the women in our mother’s ministry.
The emphasis for this trip is finding God in science. They will be conducting science experiments and creating visual arts using science. This team is made up of many educators who are excited to engage the children in discovering the fun and beauty of God’s magnificent creation. In addition, the team will support and encourage the teachers at the Point of Hope with a teacher’s workshop designed to encourage and supplement teaching skills.
The women’s ministry will focus on how the women are created fully known and loved by Jesus. This will be done through connecting women to stories from the Bible of how God honored women.
