I can’t say that Romania was a country I had plans to visit or do ministry but God had other plans. I had the opportunity to go with Cumberland Fellowship to Romania in 2022.  We joined the work that POH is doing.  We shared a bible lesson and passed out shoes that were collected earlier that year by CF. The trip turned out to be more than what I imagined it would be.  The physical difference between children in the program vs those that were not was evident. Kids in the program were well fed, clean, happy, respectful, etc. But the biggest difference was not physical.  I saw the light and joy that those children exuded. It felt like a miracle. In their eyes I saw Love and I saw Hope, in other words I saw Jesus’ love in action. It was a wonderful experience that I will not forget.  On this trip I met Sophia, a 5yr old child in the program who I now sponsor. Cumberland Fellowship believes in the work ACF is doing and has partnered and supports the ministry financially and by continuing to send Mission teams.  I am thankful for the opportunity I had to share Jesus with the Roma children!
