Emil says, “No one helps us as much as you do!”
One of my favorite parts of leading this ministry is getting to share some amazing stories of transformation. Here is another wonderful story that comes from the infant home we support in Guatemala. Impact Ministries operates this program in Tactic, Guatemala.
From Dacian Moldovan, our partner on the ground in Romania: When the weather dips below freezing, multiple worries come for the families we serve.But thanks to the good people with big hearts in the USA and Another Child Foundation, 32 families received propane gas tanks, and in the following days 18 more families will receive them and 15 families will receive wood for heating. 65 families, a total of 322 people, will benefit from this heating aid.
Zarculea Emil: “We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us so much, no one helps us as much as you do. Our children are well taken care of at the Center, they receive food, clothes, shoes, they bathe, they receive education. We cannot offer all these things at home because we don’t have the necessary conditions. Not having a job, we were having a hard time financially, only from the child benefits from the state, we couldn’t afford to have a gas tank. My wife is happy that food is made faster with the help of the gas tank. We are grateful for everything you do for us! Thank you!”
The aid for heating is welcome for these families, because due to the lack of financial resources, many families have nothing to heat their homes, which is why their children frequently catch cold in the cold season. Adults have nowhere to work during the winter and live only on the children’s financial support from government. Also, by receiving these gas tank, mothers can now keep their home warm and cook a hot meal at home for the family.
It is the constant and reliable support of the ACF donors that allows family’s to experience the love of God in such a powerful way.
