Your Impact in 2024: Stories of Hope and Transformation in Romania

Apr 15, 2025

“I feel so blessed to have the prayers and support of ‘YOU’ the Another Child supporter. Without them, I wouldn’t have had this chance to grow and learn.” – Narcisa

Narcisa is an 11-year-old 4th grader who has been attending the Point of Hope Center since she was seven. The youngest of five siblings, Narcisa’s life has changed a lot since she found this special place.

Point of Hope is more than just a school. It’s a place where children learn about the love and hope of Jesus, grow academically, and build life skills. For Narcisa, it has become a place of encouragement and support, where she feels safe and excited to learn every day.

Narcisa is a hardworking and dedicated student. With the extra help she receives at Point of Hope, she’s able to understand her schoolwork more clearly and even make time for other activities. This has helped her excel in all her subjects and feel confident in her abilities.

At Point of Hope, Narcisa has also learned important life lessons. She has developed skills for personal care and how to behave in different situations. These lessons are helping her grow into a responsible young girl.

One of Narcisa’s favorite activities at Point of Hope is the creative workshops. She loves making decorative items and expressing herself through art. She also enjoys the pastry workshop, where she has learned to make cakes, pancakes, fruit cake, and fruit salad. These hands-on experiences have helped her discover new talents.

One of the highlights of Narcisa’s time at Point of Hope was attending camp last year. She felt so grateful for the opportunity, saying, “I feel so blessed to have the support of the Another Child donor. Without them, I wouldn’t have had this chance to grow and learn.”

Narcisa’s story is just one example of how Point of Hope is making a difference in children’s lives. As we prepare for the Send a Kid to Camp appeal in May, we ask you to consider supporting children like Narcisa. Your generosity can provide them with the chance to experience camp and continue growing in a place filled with love and hope.

It is the constant and reliable support of the ACF donors that allows children to experience the love of God in such a powerful way.

I hope this story helps connect you with the work being done through this ministry via your generosity!

Once again I want to thank you for being the Voice for Voiceless children. I hope you keep investing into their lives as long as you can. You are such a blessing to them.
