This fall, a dedicated 10-person team will embark on a life-changing journey to the beautiful Targu-Mureș region of Romania from October 9–18, 2026. This mission trip blends hands-on ministry, joyful community outreach, and unforgettable sightseeing into one powerful 10-day experience. Delivering Hope and Joy
This fall, our primary mission will be distributing shoes collected across the United States through Project Respond, along with vital humanitarian aid to children and families across rural Romanian villages. Alongside shoe distribution, our team will host lively Vacation Bible School (VBS) programs filled with games, Bible stories, and crafts that bring smiles and hope to every child we meet.
For ACF Founder Tim Oloffson, shoe distribution holds a very special place:
“It was a shoe trip just like this one years ago that sparked the entire Another Child movement,” says Tim. “There is something sacred and unforgettable about meeting a child right where they are and showing them they are loved.”
The team won’t just be delivering supplies—they will be building connections, praying with families, and experiencing firsthand the wide-ranging ministry work happening year-round across Romania.
“In all my years of ministry, the greatest thrill I have ever experienced is kneeling down and putting a brand-new pair of shoes onto the feet of a child,” Tim shares. “When you see their eyes light up, you realize that simple act of love changes both their world and yours.”

Between ministry days from October 11–16, the team will immerse themselves in Romania’s rich history and breathtaking landscapes. They’ll enjoy scenic travel through the Romanian countryside, explore historic castles and landmarks, and take in the vibrant culture of Bucharest. From natural scenery to historical sites, the team will discover why Romania is one of Europe’s hidden treasures—all while creating memories and connections that will last a lifetime.
This October journey promises to transform not only the lives of the children the team serves, but their own hearts as well.
