Wow! We just wrapped up an amazing week at our Vacation Bible School camp in the mountains! Thanks to your help, 40 children from the Roma community of Târnăveni got to enjoy this special time. (Three kids had to go home early, but we missed them!)
Our Super Theme
This year’s theme was “The Greatest Superhero” – all about Jesus! The kids learned that Jesus not only saves us but also helps us develop “superpowers” like:
- Love
- Courage
- Acceptance
Each day, the children memorized a Bible verse that helped them understand how Jesus’s teachings fit into their daily lives.
Fun Activities All Day Long.
Our days were packed with fun:
Mornings: Kids rotated between:
- Crafts
- Games
- Music and dancing
- Memory verse practiceAfternoons: We enjoyed group activities like:
- Water games in the sunshine
- Sports
- Relay races
- Free play time
Evenings: We came together for:
- Worship
- Reviewing what we learned
- Laughing and playing
- Dancing
Special Moments
Wednesday night was very exciting! We had a talent show where kids showed off their special gifts. We also ate juicy watermelon and went on a nature hike to see God’s beautiful creation.
Thursday night it rained, so we couldn’t have our campfire or make s’mores. But we still had fun giving out prizes to each team for their hard work during the week! 
More Than Just Fun
The best part of camp wasn’t just the activities. It was creating a place where every child felt loved and important. Many kids were sad when camp ended, but they were happy to learn that Jesus, our ultimate superhero, loves them and gives them strength.
As they headed home, they took with them fun memories and new faith that will keep growing in their hearts.
