Summer is almost here, and we are excited to share that our Vacation Bible School camp will be at Camp Harghita in Romania from July 12-18. This year is special
because it’s the 19th year we’ve held this camp for kids in Romania, and we need your help to make it great!
Each year, we choose children to attend camp based on a merit system. This means that the kids who come really appreciate the chance to be there. All these kids are part
of our Point of Hope program. During the school year, they learn about God in the classroom, but camp gives them a chance to explore their faith even more deeply over
six fun days. It’s a time for them to make friends, learn about God, and feel His love in a safe place.
The camp has changed many lives. Over the years, we’ve heard amazing stories about how kids have grown in their faith. Some children who struggled before come back
home feeling hopeful and connected to Jesus. They share their experiences with others, inspiring their friends and families.
Again this year, Another Child is sending a team of volunteers to help run the camp along with our Romanian staff and translators. These volunteers are dedicated to
helping the kids, and we are thankful for their support.
To make this camp happen, we need your help—both with money and prayers. Your donations will help pay for camp supplies, food, and other costs.
We also ask for your prayers. Please pray for the children who will attend camp, that they will open their hearts to everything they will learn. Pray for our volunteers, that they
will be patient and loving as they guide the kids. And pray for the camp itself, that it will be a safe and welcoming place for everyone.
As we get ready for this amazing week, we remember how important community support is. It takes a group of caring people to Send a Kid to Camp. We invite you to join us in this mission and be part of something special. Together, we can create wonderful memories and experiences for these children.
