We are thrilled to announce that on April 14, we successfully sent a 40-foot shipping container filled with generous donations from our incredible supporters to Romania! This annual tradition is a highlight for us, and we can hardly contain our excitement as we prepare for the impact these supplies will have on the children we serve.
This year, our container is packed with over 4,000 pairs of shoes and 20,000 pairs of socks, ensuring that the children will have warm and comfortable footwear. Additionally, we’ve included plenty of winter coats and essential school supplies, along with a variety of wonderful items from our Amazon wish list. Each contribution reflects the kindness and compassion of our supporters, and we are immensely grateful for your generosity.
The container is set to arrive just before our mission team begins their journey in June. We are eager to distribute these much-needed supplies to the children in Romania that God has entrusted to our care. It’s a beautiful reminder of how we can come together to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
Beyond the tangible aid, these supplies serve as a powerful tool for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each item we distribute opens doors for conversations about faith and hope. For instance, last year, we shared a story about a little girl who received a pair of shoes. As she put them on, she exclaimed, “Now I can run to church!” This simple act of kindness not only provided her with footwear but also ignited her enthusiasm for attending church and learning about Jesus. It’s moments like these that remind us of the profound impact our efforts can have on the hearts of the children we serve.
