If you’ve been following our story, you know that for nearly 20 years, we’ve been reaching children in Romania with compassion, teaching them with love and truth, and transforming their lives through Jesus Christ. But this year is extra special because we’re celebrating 20 YEARS of keeping that promise!
What Makes This Day So Special?
Promise of Hope Day is our chance to come together as a community and say: “We believe in these children. We believe in this mission. And we’re not stopping now!”
On September 11, we’re launching a special fundraising campaign to keep our programs running strong for the next 20 years. Every dollar you give goes directly to helping children like Raul, Alexandru, and hundreds of others who are waiting for their chance to learn, grow, and discover their God-given potential.
Meet the Children You’re Helping
You’ve probably heard Raul’s story by now. For seven years, he came to Point of Hope needing a safe place and someone to believe in him. When his mom passed away, our staff didn’t let him give up. They showed up for him every single day. This June, Raul graduated 8th grade and got admitted to high school! He even discovered a passion for tailoring and is developing amazing skills.
But Raul is just one of 265 children we serve across four communities in Romania. There’s Alexandru, who went from struggling in school to earning honors. There’s Andreea, who discovered her love for art and is becoming a talented young artist. And there are so many more children with stories just as powerful.
How You Can Help
On Promise of Hope Day, we’re asking supporters like you to give generously. Whether it’s $3 for a meal, $25 for two days of camp, $150 for supplies, or any amount you can give — every single dollar makes a difference.
