Another Child Foundation is excited to announce four mission trip opportunities to Romania in 2027. Each team will serve in unique ways, but all four trips share the same purpose: building relationships, meeting practical needs, and planting seeds of hope among children, families, and communities.
From children’s ministry and sports outreach to humanitarian aid and mountain camp experiences, Romania 2027 offers something for every person who feels called to serve. Team sizes are limited, and spots will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
Trip #1: Point of Hope Development Center
June 4–13, 2027
Our first team of the year will spend extensive time serving at the Point of Hope Development Center in Târnaveni, Romania. Approximately 150 children attend school at Point of Hope each day, making it a vital place of education, care, and opportunity within the community.
This team will focus on three important areas of ministry
:• Children’s activities: Leading Vacation Bible School-style activities for the 150 children
• Facility improvement: Completing general repairs and landscaping around the Point of Hope building and grounds
• Community outreach: Connecting with and serving the people of Târnaveni
This trip is a wonderful opportunity for those who enjoy working with children, serving with their hands, and building meaningful relationships in the community.

Trip #2: Baseball Sports Camp
Tentatively June 18–27, 2027
Another Child Foundation will launch its first-ever Sports Camp in Romania during the summer of 2027. This team will use the game of baseball to connect with children in the Târnaveni area and create opportunities for encouragement, friendship, and faith-based outreach.
Participants will work with three different age groups of children, teaching baseball skills while demonstrating teamwork, discipline, confidence, and sportsmanship. No matter your level of baseball experience, your willingness to encourage children and serve others is what matters most.
The team will also participate in community outreach among the people of Târnaveni. Team limit: 20 people
This first Sports Camp represents an exciting new ministry opportunity for Another Child Foundation. Team members will help establish a program that can make a lasting impact on children and families in the region.
Trip #3: Camp Harghita Ministry
July 8–18, 2027
Trip #3 will take 45 children from the Point of Hope Development Center to Harghita Christian Camp in the beautiful Carpathian Mountains of Romania.
For one week, these children will experience a VBS-style camp filled with exploration, fellowship, fun, and opportunities to grow in their faith. In 2027, Another Child Foundation will celebrate its 20th year of providing this VBS-style experience for children at Camp Harghita.
Team members will have the privilege of planting seeds of hope in the lives of at-risk children—seeds that can grow into a harvest of transformation throughout the Roma community. The peaceful mountain setting provides a special environment for children to experience God’s love, discover new possibilities, and build lasting memories.
This trip offers the unique opportunity to minister directly to children while enjoying the serene beauty of Romania’s Carpathian Mountains.

Trip #4: Humanitarian Aid and Outreach
October 19–27, 2027
Our fourth Romania team will focus on delivering humanitarian aid and distributing shoes collected through Project Respond across the United States during the summer.
This trip will give every team member a broad overview of the ministry of Another Child Foundation in Romania. The team will visit children, families, and ministry partners throughout the Târgu Mureș region, delivering practical assistance and encouragement to those in need.
In addition to distributing aid, the team will conduct a Vacation Bible School program for each group of children receiving assistance. This combination of meeting physical needs and sharing spiritual encouragement reflects the heart of Another Child Foundation’s ministry.
The team will also have the opportunity to experience Romania’s natural beauty and history through sightseeing, including the country’s scenic landscapes and historic sites.
Team limit: 18 people

Every trip will require flexibility, teamwork, compassion, and a willingness to serve. More than a travel experience, these mission trips are opportunities to build relationships, encourage families, and participate in ministry that reaches far beyond a single week.
