First — thank you. The response to the 2026 Blessing Little Feet shoe drive has been incredible. Churches, small groups, and donors have jumped in, bins are filling, and our warehouse team is working overtime. We can feel the momentum — and we’re so grateful.
But we won’t sugarcoat it: there are still kiddos waiting. Many still need sturdy shoes to protect their feet from sharp rocks, muddy paths, and infections that keep little ones out of school. Others need shoes for the practical start of a new school year — the confidence of putting on a brand-new pair can change how a child shows up in the classroom and how teachers and classmates see them. And yes, the psychological impact matters: a child who feels cared for walks taller, learns better, and is more open to hearing messages of hope.
We want to be clear about why this matters to us. Shoes are practical — they prevent injury and illness — but they’re also a tool. They open doors. When volunteers give shoes with love, they’re not only protecting tiny feet; they’re creating a moment to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That moment — a warm smile, a simple prayer, a small gift — can plant seeds deep in a child’s heart and mind. We don’t hide that purpose; we embrace it. Every pair sent carries physical care and spiritual hope.
So what can you do right now? If you haven’t yet, please consider sponsoring a pair for $23 or donating new, closed-toe athletic shoes and socks through your church. Your gift moves quickly from our shelves into a child’s hands — and then onto their feet.
Join us in filling the next container — summer distributions are coming, and we want to reach every child who’s waiting. Give today at: https://anotherchildfoundation.org/shoes/
