February 2023 Mission to South Africa

We are now accepting applications for our February 2023 mission trip to serve orphans and at-risk children in South Africa. Tentative dates are February 23- March 4.

Details of this trip are still being created. However, the Vision of the ministry we will be helping is clear.

This team will have three focuses:
1. Medical team-RNs, Occupational Therapists, CNAs, etc. we need you! We will be assisting local medical staff with treating people in a variety of settings.
2. Child evangelism/children’s ministry-This team will work daily with the children at the Ruby Havens foster care home. This team will also participate in children’s ministry with kids from the greater George community. Talents in puppetry, crafts, simple Bible lessons, drama etc. would be helpful in these outreaches.
3. Construction-Put on your tool belt and help do small house projects at the Havens. We will also do community outreach for families who need a little help with home repair. We will focus on helping widows, children-led households and the very poor to improve their living conditions.

Our vision for children in this community does not just stop at the establishment of orphan homes. We believe that the Bible is clear that God expects us to take care of the poor, needy, widows and the strangers in our land (Isaiah 58). Through the All In Orphan Care Bible Study we hope to help families and individuals establish how they will walk out the mandate to help orphans. Our vision is to see other families fostering and adopting the abandoned of South Africa. Also to provide support to those families through support groups and educational classes. Our vision is to see programs put in place to help children to stay in their families through parenting and support type programs. Helping families stay in tact prior to governmental interventions is our goal.
