What a blessing it was to serve the precious children in Honduras. After a challenging start with flight delays the team had to practice flexibility. The team did a fabulous job carrying on without John Frank on the first day of VBS. Sandy and John Frank ended up arriving a day late! Dario, the Honduran host, welcomed the team with open arms. What a wonderful man of God, who has such a heart for his people and the children there.
Mornings were spent doing VBS with the village children where they had 60-80 children in each village. It was a joy to be in the hands and feet of Christ as we were able to share the Gospel with these little ones. The plan of salvation was given at each VBS and many children gave their hearts to Christ during that week.
This was one of the first mission opportunities for ACF in Honduras, so the team was instrumental in laying the needed groundwork for many mission opportunities in the future. John Frank is super grateful for each team member as they gave so much generously of themselves to pour Christ’s love into the lives of the children.
