Erie Evangelical Free Church has been involved with ACF for about 10 years. Pastor Ron is originally from Walnut, so he knew Tim Oloffson and that is where our connection comes from. Through the years, we have primarily focused on collecting shoes but more recently some members of our congregation have taken on child sponsorships. My favorite aspect of ACF’s ministry is the relationship building. It is wonderful to have Alicia, Tim, and Kirsten who are so personable and easy to talk to. I also enjoy the child sponsorship updates.  I really like how at the Point of Hope Development Center the kids start at a young age and get a meal, shower, and clean clothes and that there is training for when they get older for different lifestyle and job skills.  It’s easy to see ACF truly has a heart for children and seeing them break through the cycle of poverty and showing them the love of Christ.
