I want to ask you to reflect back to the days when you got your first chance to go to camp.  I’m sure some great memories and friendships come to mind. Maybe those memories are swimming in the lake, staying up all night, or sitting by the fire singing some good old campfire songs.

Camp may have also been a time where God entered your life and helped you make a life-long commitment to obey and serve Him. Whatever good memories you recall, having the camp experience probably played an important part in the person you are today.

What if you hadn’t gotten the chance to go to camp? Would your life be dramatically different? Here is an opportunity for you to help a child who may never have this possibility to go to camp again. We need some generous people like you to prayerfully consider sending a child to a very special 6 day camp!   

For just $21 you can send a kid to camp for one day. This $21 will provide a child with everything they need to enjoy the camp experience to the fullest. Each day the kids will get a full Vacation Bible School full of Bible stories, crafts, and music. The kids will also have a time in the afternoon to discover who they really are and the plans God has for them. This discovery time will play a vital role in their futures. At night the kids will get to enjoy fun activities and review the days main topic.

     As good as this sounds it won’t happen without you! Your prayers and financial support are needed TODAY! Could you provide support for one day, two days, or the entire week?

If you decide to help us, we will match you up with the child your support is benefiting. We are inviting you to share a camp story or send a message to your child on an enclosed card. This card will be sent over with the mission team and hand delivered and read to your child.

Ioana Szabo is one of the girls who is hoping to go to camp this summer. Ioana is 10 years old and is enrolled in the Point of Hope Development Center’s after-school program. When she was asked about going to camp she said this,

“Last year my best friend got to go to camp, and she said it was so much fun. She got to do things she had never done before. I hope I get the chance to do camp someday. Maybe this year!”
